Everyone has come down onto the track to see the cars out in preperation for the start of the 35th ADAC 24hr . As everyone was forced off the track prior to the race starting everyone started to look to the skys. The weather was changing. Dirk Schoysman started to wonder whether or not to change the tyres on the Falken Skyline to wets. 
Over at Bob Nevilles RJN race team the same question was being pondered. They had already sent the tyres away once. The first driver in the car was Kurt Thimm. He was quite happy for the car to stay on slicks. However on hearing that the race was about to be postponed for 30 minutes Bob decided to get them back down again. However this time they took the slics off and left both the wets and slicks on the floor so as to make a last minute decision. would it rain?................................
