Seems it is the season for Motorsport iPhone applications.

Volkswagen kicked off the trend late last year with the release of an Application for the Dakar Rally: Get it here
which enabled users to get up to date news, facts and videos as the rally went on.

The World Rally Championship followed on with this, providing free live data of rallys as they happen, along with the obligatory news clips, and videos!

Audi have just announced a DTM application - although at the time of writing it is not yet available in the Store.

And there's that Formula 1 app, which I've not tried, as I think its priced somewhat strongly!

What I'd love though is an application for the timing for endurance events... as it would be very handy to keep appraised of the action when out in the field...
