The Vitaphone Maserati MC12 number 1 won the championship race, driven by Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini, boosting their lead in the championship
Whilst Maserati are out in front in the overall results for the season, it was very much not an easy race for them, with a close battle with the Peter Dumbreck / Michael Krumm Sumo-Power Nissan GTR

Further back, there were some indicents, with the Corvettes finding it tricky at the hairpin..
All in all it was another entertaining battle for the FIA GT1, with the stripey circuit of Paul Ricard being a welcome part of the world championship... with this it was time to pack up... with Spa being the next event on the calendar!
