Manthey Porsche 911 GT3 RSR sparking as its splitter bottoms out on landing at Pflanzgarten

After 16 hours, Manthey Porsche continue to lead from the front with their #18 911 GT3 RSR. Closely following them is the #32 Mercedes SLS of Heico motorsport, and the #1 factory BMW M3 GT.

The #32 Mercedes is somewhat hampered by the loss of its front splitter, in an accident with an Audi in the night, this meaning that it is suffering from high tire wear, and a lot of understeer.

Black Falcon Mercedes SLS AMG currently running 7th.

As night turned to dawn, and then into fully fledged daylight, it was a welcome sight to see so many cars still running, although some wearing a few bruises from battles during the night!

BMW still in with a chance to defend their title. Running 3rd

Interesting facts:
  • Farnbacher Ferrari back up to 12th now
  • Raeder Motorsport Audi TT RS in 14th is highest placed front wheel drive car
  • Team "stuck" - Reiter engineering Lamborghini is up to 16th
  • Highest placed Golf24 is #235 in 33rd place
