Following a number of requests, we have decided to start offering desktop backgrounds from key events throughout the year.
We're open to thoughts on how to do it, but thought we'd start with a shot from qualifying in the Nürburgring 24 hour race this year. The shot is of the pole sitting car - Team ABT Sportsline's number 100 Audi R8 LMS, on the approach to Weirseifen.
The image is at 1440x960 - we picked this resolution as its perfect for the laptops we lug around to events, and still will look good on larger desktop screens.
Your feedback on whether this works for you is appreciated. If you have requests for future desktop background, please let us know.
To download the large image, simply click on the image above, and it will display in your browser, and can then be saved through the Browser's file menu.
